Here’s an alternate way of putting it together that some may like better: start by putting the skeleton (or “harp”) together and then snap on all the pieces from each number pile one after the other – like making a basket!

Small flat urchin assembly

The Skeleton (or harp as some may call it) is slightly different for each style of urchin. Here is a vid of the small flat urchin’s harp being assembled.

Step1

Assemble the skeleton (harp).

Step2

Lay out the pieces in order. Look for the tiny numbers! Each design has a different number of pieces.

Step3

Assemble the first row of pieces. Put the notched tabs in the slot for each piece. Use the fasteners to snap them together.

Step4

Attach the first row to the skeleton.

Step5

Work your way around the rest of the way, row by row. Attach all the pieces.

Step6
